[02 / THE IDEA]
Something to show. Keep it simple.
Tuck keeps the everyday capture tools close, and the decisions small. A screenshot for the tiny detail. A recording for the thing that needs explaining.
Two ways to get your point across. Each with its own simple finish.
A picture says it.
Select → Capture → Saved + copied
Choose an area, window, or your main screen.
Take your screenshot.
Find the PNG in Pictures and on your clipboard.
Prefer a shortcut? Tap Option three times for area capture. Optional Input Monitoring permission is required.
A little motion helps.
Choose → Record → Stop → Name + save
Choose Display or Window, then any optional inputs.
Press Record and confirm your source in the macOS picker.
Stop from the notch or menu bar, then name and save your video.
System audio, microphone, and camera are optional. Enable the inputs your explanation needs.
[04 / INSIDE TUCK]
Only what you need.
Your screen, sound, and camera. One little pill, with options close by.
From the current Mac build. Tuck is the working name; the app currently appears as Capture. Select an image to see it at full size.
Sound, when it helps.
Add system audio for the thing happening on screen. Turn on your mic when a few words make it clearer.
A face to the voice.
Enable the camera overlay and drag it where it belongs. Its position carries into the saved recording.
There. Then out of the way.
Start at the menu bar. Keep elapsed time and Stop near the notch while you record. Finish with a local file.
Tuck is in development. These controls reflect the current implementation; the beta will help us test the everyday details.
